Our Mission
The Wabash Valley is very fortunate to have multiple sources of high quality, professional counseling. Prior to Community Christian Counseling opening, biblically-sound counseling was primarily limited to pastors in area churches. During program development though, interviews with area pastors were conducted and they frequently said they felt underprepared and under-trained to deal with many of the issues facing their members. They also said they didn’t have enough time for on-going counseling and especially through pre-marital counseling. But they also said they need to know and trust the counseling and the theology of the counselors they would refer to. Many individual Christians said during the interviews they would rather, mainly for confidentiality reasons, not go to their own pastor for some life-struggles.
The mission of Community Christian Counseling is to provide biblically sound, confidential and financially accessible counseling to individuals and families seeking victory over life’s challenges.
